Homemade Exfoliant Instructions
1 Decide which exfoliant is right for you. If you have dry skin, try oatmeal. If you have sensitive skin, try baking powder. If you have normal skin, try baking soda or brown sugar. Place a teaspoon of your main exfoliating ingredient on a small plate.
2 Add a teaspoon of molasses, honey or olive oil to the exfoliat. Olive oil is the best choice for dry skin. Because the molecules in olive oil are the same size as human sebum cells, your skin is nourished in the same way your own natural oils provide moisture for the skin. In your case, your skin is too dry to do so on its own. It needs a little help. (For sensitive skin, try using a gentle additive like honey.)
3 Mix the two ingredients together and gently rub into your skin. Remember, to use one teaspoon of the exfoliant ingredient and one teaspoon of a gentle carrier ingredient. Your mixture should have a gravy like consistency. It will smell and taste delicious! However, baking soda can be salty, so be careful not to consume to much during the application process.
4 Gently scrub your face, moving in a small circular motion. Be sure to get your neck and chest area, too. Avoid contact with the eyes. Rinse with warm water.
5 Pat your skin dry. (Never wipe rub the skin after an exfoliation.) A good facial moisturizer should be used once the face is completely dry. Repeat this process a maximum of twice a week. The removal of dead skin cells will help you to have a consistent, vibrant, and healthy complexion.
Tips & Warnings
- Rub gently in a circular motion and pat dry.
- You should only use exfoliats once to twice a week. (Avoid daily use.)
- Always moisturize after exfoliating.
- Since these exfoliants have no preservatives, any excess product must be discarded (use it on your elbows & knees)
since my skin is dry type, kak rose guna combination of oats n olive oil jer (grind oats jadi serbuk n mix dengan olive oil tu) selamat mencuba dan selamat berjimat cermat ya adik2.
