Zucchini tempura

 salam dan selamat pagi minggu.... mestinya para suri dapur sibuk siapkan menu breakfast untuk keluarga... sesuatu yang istimewa buat keluarga tersayang kan. menu kudapan ni kak rose buat petang semalam.... sebenarnya zucchini ni dah lama kak rose bli, masa belum g kl ari tu dan tak terbuat apa2 pun lagi... dah seminggu balik pun masih tak terusik... so pagi semalam tu cuba tanya cik google tentang resepi yang guna zucchini ni... macam2 resepi ade dan kak rose pilih jer yang mudah nak buatnya... tempura zucchini.

 walaupun dah lama bli dan lama duk betapa dalam fridge, tapi masih fresh dan segar dan crunchy... jom tengok resepinya yang kak rose amik dari sini.... siap dengan step by step bergambar lagi... mudah la nak ikut cara2 nak buatnya...


INGREDIENTS:

2 medium zucchinis (kak rose guna sebatang jer!)
1 teaspoon curry powder
(divided in half)
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 cup water
3 to 4 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1 cup vegetable oil for deep
frying


 DIRECTIONS:

Cut zucchini stem end off and discard.

Slice zucchini into thin slices.Put sliced zucchinis into bowl.
Sprinkle with salt.
 

Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon curry powder. 
Mix zucchinis with spoon to coat with salt and curry evenly.Squeeze garlic cloves through garlic press
Put flour into medium bowl. 
Add egg.
Add salt
Add water. Mix well with wire whisk until smooth. 
Add pressed garlic.
Add the remaining 1/2 teaspoon curry powder. 
Mix well. 
Pour oil into large skillet.
Heat over medium heat 1 minute.With fork, dip one zucchini slice at a time to coat it with batter all over.
Put several zucchini slices into preheated oil in skillet. 
Do not overcrowd skillet. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until bottoms become slightly golden. Flip over with
tongs or heat-resistant spatula.
Cook on another side for 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly golden.
Place paper towel in large plate.
Transfer cooked zucchini onto paper towel to drain excess oil.
 

  
(macam panjang berjela the directions kan, tapi sebenarnya cam kita nak goreng pisang jer!)
   
dah ready.... makan masa hangat2, cicah dengan cili sos... krup krap krup krap.

assalamualaikum kakrose, saya tk pernah masak macam ni, pernah tengok resepi ni dlm youtube tapi belum jua sampai seru nak buat hahaha, esuk lusa belu zuchini nk buat gak ni sedap tak kakrose?

Waalaikumsalam Noor, kak rose pun pertama kali buat ni... sedap jugaklah ditekak jawa ni.
