Jeruk betik

inilah hasil jeruk betik yang dah direndam selama 2 hari dengan air garam..... a bit masin for me....tapi x tau lagi hasilnyer selepas direndam dengan air cuka gula ni.....harap2 dapat rasa macam yang beli kat Chowrasta tu......resepi hasil sekodeng d rumah En Mat Gebu.... tapi En Mat nyer punyalah cun gambo dia.....tu yang buat trgoda nak wat jeruk ni....buah betik ni amik kat rumah jiran, Wati..... dia berada di kampungnyer d Kuala Terengganu..... dan dah pesan suh amik buah ni kalau masak....jadi kak rose pun amik lah.... dan call dia bagi tau.... tima kasih bebanyak ya ti......nnti balik boleh kita pot pet pot pet sambil menikmati jeruk ni......

taraaaaaa..... ini result nyer.... setelah diperam dengan air cuka gula selama 2 hari....masih tetap crunchy..... kruk krak kruk krak.....dan masin pun dah hilang.....dah jadi macam yang bli di Chowrasta market kat Jalan Penang tu.... (tekonang den maso duk kat Penang dulu).....tima kasih bebanyak ya cik Mat kerana resepinyer.......dan kak rose nak c&p resepinyer kat sini.....untuk rujukan lain kali bila nak wat lagi.....minta halal ya Cik Mat......

Bahan-Bahannya :-)
1 biji betik muda yang mengkal (lebih kurang 1.5 kg)
(kak rose nyer betik terlebih masak tapi masih keras dan crunchy lagi)
6 cawan air
3/4 cawan garam kasar
700 ml cuka makan
2 1/4 cawan gula pasir
4 - 5 biji cili padi (jika suka), dibelah dua

Cara membuatnya :-)
  1. PENYEDIAAN AWAL :- Masak 6 cawan air dengan 3/4 cawan garam kasar hingga garam larut. Sejukkan sepenuhnya. Kupas betik, belah, buang biji dan hiris sederhana tebal, cuci, toskan dan letak dalam tupperware. Tuang air garam tadi dan biar terendam selama 2 hari.
  2. PENYEDIAAN CUKA MANIS :- Didihkan cuka makan bersama gula pasir, kacau hingga gula larut, tapis dan biar sejuk sepenuhnya.
  3. PENYEDIAAN JERUK BETIK :- Toskan betik tadi, bilas dengan air dan toskan. Sediakan bekas untuk jeruk betik, curah air panas dalam bekas2 tadi, buang dan toskan. Susun betik tadi dalam bekas (susun padat2), selit2kan dengan belahan cili padi (jika suka) buat hingga siap. Tuang cuka manis sehingga menutupi betik tadi. Tutup bekas dan biar 1 - 2 hari. Lepas tu boleh lah makan sambil gebang2 bawah pokok ceri!!!!....
