Potato lyonnaise


teringat dulu ada makan masa dinner kat hotel.... sedap potato ni....(pada kak rose ler....lain owang lain cita rasa kan....) balik umah terus cari resepinyer.... dan jumpa kat sini..... so kali ni try wat untuk lunch....ke orang makan tuk dinner je?... ah apa kisah.... janji pewot kenyang kan.... makan ngan nasi goreng dan frankfuters... pewot jawo kan.... kena lah ada nasi.....kalau nak makan cam tu jer pun ok gak....Alhamdullilah kenyang. Kalau sesiapa nak cuba kak rose tepek resepinyer kat sini ya....

POTATOES LYONNAISE
2 lbs. potatoes (approximately 4 lg.)
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. sliced onion (approximately 2 onions)
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c. chopped parsley (kak rose x letak sbb x de)

Serves 8. Peel and halve potatoes, then steam them until tender, approximately 10 minutes. Cut potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add potato slices and cook for 15 minutes, shaking pan periodically. After 10 minutes, add salt and pepper; turn potatoes. In a small skillet, saute onions in olive oil until browned. Add onions and parsley to potatoes and cook for five minutes more. 90 calories per serving.
